This informative and practical session will help chairs identify what works and what doesn't work in assessing their program-level student learning outcomes. Specific issues to be addressed in this seminar include defining and measuring program outcomes, curriculum mapping, and developing action plans.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
  • Define and write measurable program outcomes
  • Create a curriculum map that reflects learning outcomes
  • Determine assessment points
  • Identify the appropriate assessment methods and ways to aggregate data
  • Create a more efficient timeline for assessment
